I've been in love with Logan Dawson for as long as I can remember. He's charming, popular, loves NRL, and somehow manages to look perfect without even trying. But there's just one problem: he has a girlfriend. Which, according to my best friend, Red, should make him completely off-limits. But giving up on Logan isn't exactly part of my plan. So when his younger brother, Carter Dawson, offers to help me get Logan's attention... How could I say no? Flirting lessons. Confidence coaching. And apparently... kissing practice. It's all supposed to be harmless, just practice. At least, that's what I keep telling myself. Because the more time I spend with Carter, the more I start to question something I'd never considered before. Have I been chasing the right brother...?

Betrayal and death destroy the love of two unrelated people. Healing is needed before either could ever risk love again. It's 2010, the summer that Spain's soccer team competes in the World Cup. Makena Nielsen heads to France to escape her adulterous ex-fiance, beginning a six-week hike west to Spain's Atlantic coast. Jordan Everest starts an 800-mile journey at the Mediterranean, walking north across Spain, trying to recover from his depression over his wife's passing. Makena and Jordan follow spiritual "Caminos" (paths) toward the holy city of Santiago. Unsure of their futures, both hope to unburden some of their pain when they reach the legendary Iron Cross. Their two different treks intersect as if their two Caminos form another cross, each person unknown to the other. But both hope their quest helps them open their hearts to love once more.

Darling Sterling has always lived quietly; buried in books, expectations, and a family name that feels heavier than it should. Socialising has never come easily, and neither has romance. She watches it happen to other people, wondering when - or if - it will ever be her turn. Unfortunately for her, her turn never seems to arrive. Jae Park is everything she isn't and wants to be. Confident. Effortlessly charming. A star athlete with a reputation that follows him through campus halls and whispered conversations. He knows people. He knows attraction. He knows exactly how to make others feel wanted. When Darling asks Jae for help navigating the world of dating and sex, it's meant to be simple - lessons, advice, nothing more. A straightforward way to build her crippling self-confidence. But the closer she gets, the more she realises he isn't just the version everyone sees; that she saw at first. And the more Jae watches Darling, the harder it becomes to pretend he's immune to her quiet gravity. ꒰ best rankings :: ꒱ #2 jock #74 shygirl #2 teaching #1 mixedgirl #1 teachme

~ Enjoy a mature romance. Not overly long, not under-developed, heart-warming and body-warming. ~ Elena is an ER nurse who works nights. Damien is a baker who starts work at 3 AM. They live in the same apartment building and share one thin wall. Their schedules mean they're both awake when the rest of the world sleeps; and a flirtatious exchange of notes under the door evolves into something far more physical after a chance meeting in the hallway at 2 AM. But daytime is a different world: she's dealing with grief from a patient she lost, he's trying to save his late mother's bakery from debt. The novel traces how a relationship born in the strange intimacy of nighttime hours has to learn to survive in daylight; with all its complications.

I moved. During the pandemic. The letters I write are real. So are the people they are addressed to. You and I are connected by less than six degrees; they could be for someone you know. But I'm sending them home in an untraditional way. I want the recipient to receive the gift of unfolding in a story. That can't happen if it's known, in advance, who the letter is addressed to and who author is. I switch a few details around to hide my identity, but I leave clues all throughout. It's easy to decipher. I'm not a writer. I'm just a teacher. I don't know what I'm doing. But may I add one thing? I teach high school. I know a bit about how things spread. I also understand, on a fundamental level, the power of connectivity. You should read the letters. Suspend disbelief. If you experience a nagging sensation, an unknown familiarity, the quickening of the heart: pay attention. We're more closely linked than you think. You might recognize me, someone you know, or better yet, yourself in one of these.
