This story is for the ATLA fans, just like me, who can't get enough of it. I present to you When the Moon Kissed the Sun, a story with both romance and adventure. I also promise this won't look like any other romance story or ATLA fan fiction (because it isn't), we have enough of that already. Since I love the water and fire duo/couple, this will definitely be a major trope of this story so be prepared for it. This story takes place in the ATLA universe but happens way before the events of the series. But things are a little different.. 20 years ago, the fire nation managed to kill Aang, the young avatar, in the slaughter of the Air Nomads. Now, as the Fire Nation has taken over on the Earth Kingdom with an iron hand, conquered the Southern Water Tribe and exterminated the Air Nomads, the sake of the world seems lost.. but hopefully, a surprising duo might change that.
