Lady Johanna held no Lannister looks thus, Aerys II the Mad King demanded she marry his second born son the Prince Daemon Targaryen. 10 moons after her marriage she birthed twins, Aegon and Rhaenyra and 15 moons after that she birthed her second son Maegor. Four moons later the realm was torn apart by Robert Baratheon who went to war against the Targaryen family after Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna Stark. When Rhaegar fell, Daemon raced back to Kingslanding where he took his pregnant mother and younger brother to Dragonstone. He had begged Johanna to come with him but she refused saying she would not "Cower in fear" which are the words she became known for. So now she is alone with her three Targaryen children with a stag on the throne. Will they survive?

Vaelon and Vaela Velaryon twins the only trueborn children of Laenor Velaryon and Rhaenyra Targaryen, born their first year of marriage. The War of heirs or Dance of the Dragons was a civil war during Targaryen rule of the Seven Kingdoms. A war of succession between Aegon II and Rhaenyra over their father Viserys I's throne, the war was fought from 130 AC to 132 AC. Dragon for Dragon Aegon's claim was based on the fact that he was the first born male of King Viserys while Rhaenyra's claim was based on the fact that Viserys had named her heir to Dragonstone and the Iron Throne and that King had supported this decision until his last breath. Aegon was crowned at Kingslanding in front of all the people, some calling him usurper and others recognizing him as Rhaenyra who was crowned with the crown of Jahaerys and his father Viserys from the hands of his daughter Visenya II Targaryen and Ser Erryk at Dragonstone. The kingdom divided into two camps, brother against brother, family against family and dragon against dragon. Despite the attacks of the greens Rhaenyra tried to keep the kingdom in peace at the request of his heiress Visenya, Daemon did not agree with this, Luke had to be avenged. The death of Jahaerys, the first born of Heleana, shook the kingdom; war had begun for the greens, Aegon, Rhaenys and Daeron were ready. For the black rock's rest was the point of no return with the death of the one who maintained the balance of the kingdom, Visenya II Targaryen. Rhaenyra declared war and called for Dragonriders for Vermithor, seasmoke and silverwing while Daemon and Aemond gathered an army in Harrenhal, Jacaerys and Lyanna asked for the help of Cregan Stark. Alicent and Aemma were imprisoned in Kingslanding, deterring the black people from attacking them as the people revolted because of taxes and hunger.

After an ominous whisper from his sister, Helaena, Aemond finds himself searching through letters for his soulmate. Little did he know that she would be in the strangest of places.
