After the defeat of Team Plasma for a second time, a new team appears from the shadows to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of Unova. The mysterious unknown team, Team Enigma as the media calls them, steals Pokemon from houses in the middle of the night to use them for their nefarious reasons. Our story begins when one small Oshawott named Waves and his best friend Lil Lil the Lillipup are stolen by Team Enigma. However, before they are taken back to the evil team's base, Waves and Lil Lil escape and now must find their way back to their trainer's home. Along the way they'll meet many different Pokemon and learn more about this strange Team Enigma that has shown up to plague Unova and all its inhabitants.

The crew may have triumphed over their enemies but it seems everything comes with a price, freedom even more so. TeamEnigma may be the new Pirate Lords but there is a lot of work to be done. With the Captain out of action, will the crew be able to survive the masses of angry pirates trying to overthrow them? But that's not the least of their worries, even with the Great One gone, their is a new enemy looming closer. Will TeamEnigma survive and help bring the promise of the new Pirate Age?
