What if Christina Grimmie was alright, If something happened and she's still here, alive, with us. I cant stress enough how much I wish this was all just a bad dream, that none of this ever happened, she is okay. This is a fan fiction about Christina being alright. I wish this wasn't a fan fiction that I am having so much pain writing, I wish it was real. I wish Christina was here. She deserved absolutely none of this, she should still be here but now shes singing amount the angels. I dont know what to say here without giving too much away so there you go. This was very hard for e to write because Christina was my idol, and my world. Its a tragic ending that I wish never happened, she was only 22. Christina Victoria Grimmie was an American YouTuber, Singer/Songwriter, and Actress who was tragically killed by gun violence. She was born March 12, 1994 and died June 10, 2016. She was only 22 years old, when she passed. If you don't know her, listen to her music - and fall in love with her. She's amazing, and deserves to be remembered. As a member of her fanbase, Team Grimmie, I want to dedicate this story to her and the Team. This story isn't really a story at all; in fact, it's more of my favourite things about her and her personality, and my favourite songs of hers, and most of all: the days I miss her most. On friday, june 10th 2016, 22 year old christina grimmie was shot after preforming at the plaza live. she was signing autographs at a meet and greet when 27 year old kevin james loibl walked up to her, armed with 2 guns, and shot her. christinas brother tackled kevin and the gun fired, shooting kevin and later killing him. christina was rushed to the hospital where she later died from her injuries. nobody knows why kevin shot her or even what reasons he had since christina had apparently never even met him, but she will be greatly missed. the first time i heard of christina was when she did a cover of the song just a dream, with sam tsui. she was a big inspiration to me and i wanted and hoped to be as great a singer and person as her one day. i followed every episode and watched her on the voice as she went through the songs and smashed her competitors and won the show. she had an amazing talent and i can speak for everyone when i say, we loved her. christina, we will all miss you, i sincerely hope you are at peace and have crossed over. i hope the man who did this to you is sent to hell. you never deserved this. Just a poem titled "Christina" I wrote in honor of the beautiful and talented late Christina Grimmie. As well as other things I might include to honor this abundance of joy. I saw her open for Selena Gomez twice, in 2011 and 2013. The first song I heard that wasn't live was the collaboration she did with Sam Tsui and Kurt Hugo Schneider, "Just A Dream," originally by Nelly. I miss her so so so so much. I remember that second time she opened for Selena Gomez, she sang a song she kept close to her, I can't remember what it was, but everyone used the flashlight on their smart phones and everyone was lighting the room like one would with a candle or something. Then when Selena was singing "Transfiguration" and "Nobody" at her Miami concert, dedicating these songs to Christina, everyone lit up the place with their smart phones again. I remember Christina saying after the song she sang (in 2013) about how she appreciated the "pretty little lights" we used with our phones. Please enjoy this poem and possibly others I might write in Christina's honor. All poems are written by me.
