The death of Jahaerys, the first born of Heleana, shook the kingdom; war had begun for the greens, Aegon, Rhaenys and Daeron were ready. For the black rock's rest was the point of no return with the death of the one who maintained the balance of the kingdom, Visenya II Targaryen. Rhaenyra declared war and called for Dragonriders for Vermithor, seasmoke and silverwing while Daemon and Aemond gathered an army in Harrenhal, Jacaerys and Lyanna asked for the help of Cregan Stark. Alicent and Aemma were imprisoned in Kingslanding, deterring the black people from attacking them as the people revolted because of taxes and hunger.

After the deaths of Prince Lucerys at the hands of Aemond Targaryen and of Prince Maelor at the orders of Daemon Targaryen, the House of the Dragon is more divided than ever. Fire and Blood is coming for both sides of the war
