Sleepy Bois Inc. are interning as archeologists. So they're like assistants on a dig site rediscovering old ruins from long-dead civilizations: broken buildings, dry pottery, cracked art, ruins of culture.... and people. The tale of Icarus, the son of the master craftsman Daedalus who flew too close to the sun. Whose wax wings melted. Who fell to his death. Tommy was like Icarus in one way, his wings were his downfall. The wings were a clear sign of his power, Phoenix. He didn't know the danger and flew too close to the sun. His wings were ruined due to his weakness. Tommy was too big a man to let that stop him though. He carried on. The sun became his wings. Icarus was reborn. A vigilante of fire who would not let himself fall again. Vigilantes gotta eat too though, so what can an avian with partially hacked off wings do for employment without getting caught? Coffee. He can make coffee. OR Vigilante!Tommy brainrot but Tommy has fire wings over damaged wings, Phil is bad at not adopting every problem child he sees, Wilbur is a bitch but in a fun way, Techno never dies, and Dream is actually a villain not just a corrupt hero. Techno picked up and cleaned the small child's wound from his fall. "B-But Tekky, it hurts!" He whined and whimpered in pain as Techno wrapped the open wound tightly. ------------------ And Tommy never cried since. He didn't cry when Wilbur and him were exiled, he didn't cry when Wilbur blew up L'Manburg, he didn't cry when Tubbo, his own best friend exiled him, or even when Dream tortured and hurt him. But this, this hurt. He sat on his knees at Technoblade's gravestone in his srine. He sat upon the ground and looked down. "Don't be weak, you say.." He paused before looking up at the sky, tears rolling down his face. "But look at me now, Techno. Just like you said.. Just like Theseus." He sat there crying as he looked up upon Technoblade from above. "And I won't lie. It hurts."
