Magic was the curse she never knew she wanted, it was the curse he couldn't escape... Julius has never liked being different, where he came from magic was deemed a curse, anyone who possessed it was sent away or worse, isolated. Isolated from growing up, being normal, having a chance to live. People with magic were perceived as dangerous, people looked not only at them with disgust but also their family's. that's why Julius decided to run, to run away from this town, his family. After five long years on the run Julius finds something, someone, who finally gives him a reason to stay. Octavia grew up in the heart of Ether, a city overflowing with magic. Everyone seemed to have their own bit of magic no matter how small, everyone but her. Octavia was already 17 with no magic in her foreseeable future considering most people got their magic around the age of 6. All of her siblings had it, her parents, and her entire extended family. Feeling broken and unwanted by her family and the kingdom Octavia decides to take fate into her own hands and go visit her estranged Aunt Aelin and cousin Riven. After some questionable advice and a turn of fate things were finally looking up....until they weren't.

On the other hand, Ray lingers in a pit of sloth and laziness, her name being gone and forlorn when without a partner to define her. To herself, she is nonexistent. To Zafiro- Ray is the apple in her eye. The story itself mixed in many writing styles. Some poetry inspiration, some inspiration from classic literature and gothic literature, and some aspects of plays and theatre, such as soliloquy's. INERTIA is experimental. But only two months later in October ,Harry got a little too drunk again and made out with somebody in the club. He broke Louis' heart and after a painful fight they decide to break up. This takes place in November, one month after their break up. Or AU: where the problems you thought you could handle are followed by much worse ones until you lose the person most important to you. And after that happens, all hope is gone and you start to give up on yourself. However there are people not giving up on you, instead they give you hope, help you. You're so low, you feel worthless.
