Terrypratchett Stories

Have ever got stuck on a plot, a word, a scene or a story so much that you can't move forward? We as writers, believe everyone has been through that "phase". To counteract that stage and to boost our writing community(and the writer in us), we all need a boost, a push to keep at it. Keeping in mind, every Sunday, NewlyWrittenBooks are going to publish a writer's empowerment quote from writers across the world, to spark the writing bug within you. Politics is a cutthroat game, but when you're dead, it doesn't matter what they cut. And it is a dirty game, filled with the kind of people that think nothing of ruining an opponent's life, but few go so far as throwing their counterparts through windows. When Balmy Bymeadow is improbably murdered, his son, Myld, is forced to carry on his father's legacy, but, in order to do so, he must take the unprecedented course of keeping his dead father around. Aided by Finella, a uniquely talented taxidermist, her sister, Flinda, a self-appointed Fairly Gods-Mother, and Phibber Monkshot, a wily and incredibly competent civil servant, in his corner, Myld must navigate the torrid waters of politics, deal with his surprisingly mobile dead father, avoid several near-death experiences and learn what it requires to get elected in a city where politics is quite literally a life or death struggle. With a pinch of 'Yes, Minister', a dash of 'The Walking Dead', and a heaped spoonful of 'Discworld'. The fourth novel of the ongoing Discworld inspired series.

I wrote a few small fics based on prompts for the Ineffable Husbands. I am going to post them all here. So the chapters will not coincide with each other. Just a warning.

But hey, there was no shortage of laughs! Aziraphale hurt himself in a silly way or in an inconvenient spot on his body. Now he has to figure out how to get Crowley to help him without him finding out.

Crowley had been rather silent since Armegeddon't. Specifically, after the night of their last meeting. They'd had wine and talks of the future and a couple laughs before Aziraphale dozed off on the demon's uncomfortable couch. He'd woken early, dressed, and left without disturbing his hungover companion. He shut the door quietly and went on his merry way to the bookshop. And that was the last time Aziraphale saw Crowley for 18 months.

Crowley loves to show Eden the ropes, especially when it comes to his pranks, until it bites him in the arse

Aziraphale gets assigned to a children's hospital to do some healing. Crowley tags along, because he has nothing better to do, and it sounds interesting. Crowley asks Aziraphale to miracle all the children to perfect health. There is something haunting the hospital though. They meet someone from their past, who makes Aziraphale choose who he wants to save and love.

Eden's cries wake up Crowley and he must soothe her so he doesn't wake up her Papa.

The Ineffable Husbands daughter loses her first baby tooth

Aziraphale doesn't know what he's doing. It's not that he hasn't observed humans, but it's hard to think that something so beautiful, which he has imagined so many times, could be... what this girl is telling him it is!

Well, that's pretty simple. Every Good Omens fan worth their salt seems to have one of this, so I decided to give oneshots a try, too. It will be angst, mostly, because I have a soft spot for it. In this book, I will post one-shots with the following couples: * Aziraphale/Crowley a.k.a Ineffable Husbands (mostly) * Beelzebub/Gabriel a.k.a Ineffable Bureaucracy (maybe) WARNING! I don't write smut. As for the rest, there will be angst (mostly, I think), whump, fluff, hurt-comfort, etc. REQUESTS are [OPEN]

Eden Alexandria Queen Fell is still in recovery and will sadly spend this year's Halloween in bed. It doesn't help that she's suffering from nightmares and pain.... Desperate to cheer up his daughter, Crowley puts together a costume and gets into character as his daughter's childhood hero.....The Tenth Doctor!
