Agnes Macphail was a force of nature - a woman who broke down the boundaries in Canadian politics and stood up for the voiceless. From 1921 when she first took office, until 1951 (only three years before her death!) when she lost her final election, she was a woman to be reckoned with. She never married, but here she remembers her life with her grand-niece who realizes that she too walks in her great-aunt's footsteps, as do we all.

Suni Davis was a recent graduate in Cultural Anthropology. The excitement of the accomplishment quickly wore off though when she learned her professor had passed away. She had been one of his closest TA's. Returning to the university to help clean out his office she discovers he had planned a trip to Nepal. She finds a plane ticket and private notebook on the elusive creature, the yeti. Unaware that he'd been researching such a myth she becomes immersed in it. This was just the adventure she needed. Park Jimin from BTS receives the ability to heal as well as make bubbles and play around with water (Hydrokinesis), Jung Wooyoung from ATEEZ has the ability to make someone fall in love with him through Lust Manipulation, Choi Yeonjun from TXT gains the ability to express his anger in a new way (Aggressiokinesis), Kang Seokhwa from WEi gets voice manipulation powers where he is able to take away someone's voice or silence them, Kim Sunoo from Enhypen gains the ability to project light as well as fire through pyrokinetic powers and Yang Jeongin from Stray Kids gets the powers to change into a cat or change someone else into a feline, through physiology. So, what could go wrong? Well, I.N turns Lee Know into a cat and can't change him back and they are scheduled for a comeback in five days, Sunoo gets overly excited and lights the Enhypen dorm on fire and Junseo loses his voice when Seokhwa jokingly pranks him. The days of the monsoon makes you such a two-faced little girl. One moment you're happy, hearing the pattering sound of raindrops falling on the glass window. The next moment, you're craving for a little sunshine and just want to see a clear sky. Like you just want to cuddle with your book and a bar of chocolate in your bed on a cloudy and rainy day. I wrote these poems about such days when my mind gets filled with all kinds of thoughts, and I want to turn them into poems. I don't know if I succeeded lol. <3

This is my contribution to the Ambys 2021. It's somewhat of a horror story/ paranormal adventure, so here's a little warning to the easily scared readers. ----- It was one of those old fashioned trains who took you on a trip trough fabulous landscapes without no real destination. The adventure was the train and watching the scenery outside the window. She had looked forward to it for so long, and she was really enjoying every moment of it. Until that evening in the restaurant cart. Her eyes filled up with tears as she hid under the dining table. Full blown panic hit her as she realized she was closing in to the end. For the love of God, she thought, she had planned this trip to be the beginning of her new life, and not the end of it...
