And the struggles Amanda and Oskar face aren't quite like others'. They soon learn how much they truly need each other- and show that no struggle cannot be overcome, if you have just that one person to help you through it. All you have to do is let them.

My story is based on a young girl by the name of Ruby. In the story she is portrayed as a young girl that's never been in love. Her parents have basicallu convinced her to believe that happiness comes from having an education in life and nothing more. She was raised to believe that love was simply a silly illusion and that it could solve nothing in life, but that all soon changed the day Seth walked into Ruby's life. In my story it show how true love feels like. Hope you all enjoy it!

It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....

And, even now, after I've let go I still occasionally think of him. I let go, and I'm a coward for never telling him, but my feelings would have only been of hindrance for him.
