It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....

She paints a pretty picture but this story has a twist, Her paintbrush is a razor And her canvas is her wrist, She paints her pretty picture In a color that is blood red While using her sharp pain brush Will she end up finally dead? Her pictures start to fade Quite slowly on her arm Will the blood not race through her? Will she no longer do harm? She painted her pretty picture But her picture had a twist You see her mind was her razor And her heart was her wrist Or can someone stop her....

I looked at Kyle in disbelief "Why are you still here?" I blurted out, my curiosity getting the best of me. I looked down, "I'm nothing special." I whispered. He chuckled that deep throated laugh that had butterflies erupting in my stomach. He tilted my head up, his wonderful green orbs meeting my shy brown ones. "Sweetheart, you don't know how special you are." (NOT IN BOOK) -------------------------------------- Ava- the nerd, the wallflower. She's the one that you don't see observing from a distance. The one that would rather listen than be heard, trust me when I say she has a lot to say. Kyle - the new guy, the man on campus. He's the one that people immediately label as a jock not a math genius who would rather read a good book than go to a pep rally. Well- at least according to The Rules. But that's the thing about rules- there meant to be broken. So watch as Kyle teaches Ava a lesson, that being noticed isn't that bad. And that being loved can change your whole world.

Alex has no idea it was her. It was her who saved him. The girl he fell in love with. They had no idea they noticed each other. -------- "Why do you insist on being ordinary?" She asked after a few minutes of silence. "Because I fit in. I don't stand out like you do. I'm so completely average it's sickening. No one see's me when I walk by, and if they do, they don't look twice. People are curious about you. When you walk into a room, you render everyone speechless.
