The Best of Me contest I never knew that saying 'I don't love you' could be so hard. Brianna was damaged at the loss of her cousin, who she looked up to. When she starts talking to Alex, the holes in her heart are filled. Alex and Brianna fell in love, fast. When her parents find out about their relationship, they are not so happy. Brianna never knew that saying 'I don't love you' to someone could be so hard. Alex never believed that it was true.

Amanda and Oskar are meant to be. They complete each other, and make each other better in so many ways. However, they aren't without their struggles. And the struggles Amanda and Oskar face aren't quite like others'. They soon learn how much they truly need each other- and show that no struggle cannot be overcome, if you have just that one person to help you through it. All you have to do is let them.

Love is arbitrary. "At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love." ~Megara My own unrequited love story of my first love/crush. It hasn't been too long ago that I fell for him, just around 4 years ago. And, even now, after I've let go I still occasionally think of him. I let go, and I'm a coward for never telling him, but my feelings would have only been of hindrance for him. This is a true love story. It isn't about me, but it is about a very close friend of mine. Please be aware that it is a sad love story. It was very hard to sum up her first love and their story in one chapter with only 1,500 words, but I tried my best. Alex has no idea it was her. It was her who saved him. The girl he fell in love with. They had no idea they noticed each other. -------- "Why do you insist on being ordinary?" She asked after a few minutes of silence. "Because I fit in. I don't stand out like you do. I'm so completely average it's sickening. No one see's me when I walk by, and if they do, they don't look twice. People are curious about you. When you walk into a room, you render everyone speechless. You have their attention from the moment they see you until the moment they can't." She was silent. She just sat there and stared at me with a hard, unreadable expression. "You render me speechless." I sucked in a breath, my cheeks burning.
