Amanda and Oskar are meant to be. They complete each other, and make each other better in so many ways. However, they aren't without their struggles. And the struggles Amanda and Oskar face aren't quite like others'. They soon learn how much they truly need each other- and show that no struggle cannot be overcome, if you have just that one person to help you through it. All you have to do is let them.

It's a scary thing to do -- trusting someone with the most special thing about you; the thing that defines you as a person: your name. There's no telling what comes after it when someone speaks. It could be positive, and it could also be negative. But sometimes you just have to take a chance and open yourself to every possibility. A prince charming, a damsel in distress, talking animals for best friends and living happily ever after...none of that in this story. This is not a fairy tale. Although it was a story that happened to me once upon a time. Before Jim came into my life "again" I never felt incomplete and didn’t have an urge of looking for a "mate". I was 22 but I was not panicking. I have a degree, stable job, loving family and friends. I’m happy and contented with life. Or so I thought.

The road trip was a success, they make it to Florida and stay at the contemporary resort and makes plans of what they should do for the rest of the day!

I looked at Kyle in disbelief "Why are you still here?" I blurted out, my curiosity getting the best of me. I looked down, "I'm nothing special." I whispered. He chuckled that deep throated laugh that had butterflies erupting in my stomach. He tilted my head up, his wonderful green orbs meeting my shy brown ones. "Sweetheart, you don't know how special you are." (NOT IN BOOK) -------------------------------------- Ava- the nerd, the wallflower. She's the one that you don't see observing from a distance. The one that would rather listen than be heard, trust me when I say she has a lot to say. Kyle - the new guy, the man on campus. He's the one that people immediately label as a jock not a math genius who would rather read a good book than go to a pep rally. Well- at least according to The Rules. But that's the thing about rules- there meant to be broken. So watch as Kyle teaches Ava a lesson, that being noticed isn't that bad. And that being loved can change your whole world.

A story of first love, first risks and everything that followed was a first time that can be remembered by heart and the soul. A story for The best of movie contest but unfortunately I'm not an American so this is not a valid entry. However, I will not delete this and let it be here. David loves finding out about new things, but for once, he might have just uncovered way too much, a conspiracy bigger than even him. Alex has no idea it was her. It was her who saved him. The girl he fell in love with. They had no idea they noticed each other. -------- "Why do you insist on being ordinary?" She asked after a few minutes of silence. "Because I fit in. I don't stand out like you do. I'm so completely average it's sickening. No one see's me when I walk by, and if they do, they don't look twice. People are curious about you. When you walk into a room, you render everyone speechless. You have their attention from the moment they see you until the moment they can't." She was silent. She just sat there and stared at me with a hard, unreadable expression. "You render me speechless." I sucked in a breath, my cheeks burning.

It was a chilly, October night when I met him. His soft brown eyes and gentle smile lured me into his arms, and there, I found warmth. He was the sweetest person I had ever met, and something about him was alluring and there was a force between us that was stronger than a magnet. Where had he been all of my life; and where has he gone? My first true love was amazing and still holds a place in my heart a year later. I'm not in love with him anymore but I'm still fond of the memories that we shared, all of the conversations, all of the laughter, the good times, the bad, it's all there, replaying constantly. What did I do wrong? Why did he leave? Could I've changed his mind? What was he thinking? Those two years were the most magical years in my life and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I learned that nothing lasts forever, no matter how much you want it. I learned that the best can come from the worst. And most importantly, I learned that true love exists. It's out there. Waiting.....
