    Dress Code. Every school had a dress code. Schools that did not have a dress code have only succeeded in finding a way to lie to their students about not having a dress code.Don’t try to deny it. Dress Code was a cruel way of separating students with the money to buy the newest fashion- hence the “Ins”- and those who didn’t, otherwise known as the “Outs”. It made Emily sick. Lexi is a nerd, artist, and writer living in an egotistical world full of cliches. She doesn't fit into the world that is claimed high school. One night, there is a masquerade dance party for the school, and Lexi is not feeling up to it. But forced into going, Lexi goes and meets a guy who is so interesting and finally notices her. After everything is set done, Lexi is worried that whoever she was dancing with really wants to see her. But what if they find out who she really is?
