I was just Saaravi Chaturvedi-an interior designing student, raised on boundaries and silence, walking into Lumen University, Hyderabad with nothing but ambition and a sketchbook. But everything changed the moment I stepped into Aaranyalayam-An ancestral bungalow of the person who got me pondering about his gaze. What was in his eyes? lust? no. love? no......recognition? There in Aaranyalayam , I saw me, in a 700-year-old painting who looked exactly like me. Sitting on the lap of a man who wore Arjun Dev's face. And when I turned to Arjun- the man who is a storm in stillness-I realized he already knew. He had seen that painting years before he saw me. And somehow... he was waiting. What followed wasn't love in the normal sense. It was a reunion of lifetimes. A vow sealed with blood under the divine's gaze. A storm that rang the temple bells without human hands. A flame that didn't flicker, even against the wind. I didn't ask for divinity. I didn't ask to be knelt before, to be called Empress. But fate, it seems, never needed my permission. Now I carry more than my name-I carry echoes of an empire, the burden of sacred fire, and a man whose silence speaks in lifetimes. And as the world begins to remember who I am... I am learning to choose who I now want to be. History didn't repeat itself, it is resuming from where it was paused, or should i say cursed.
