The paper entitled "Totalitarian System in Lowry's The Giver and Orwell's 1984" explained about the similarities and differences of totalitarianism in the both novel. This paper was written during Literary Criticism course in 2016.

What If, The Giver Ended Differently?...

Four others and I, could possibly save the human race. The other patients: Thomas, Jillian, Adalie, and John, were conceived prior to the entire human population becoming sterile, 17 years ago. I was born, A year after they were. My mother died in childbirth. Now I belong to a secret group of people called Peace Makers. No one knows how I was born. Only that I am the last hope for humanity. In another reality, in a world similar, but still different, women live in a village atop of a hill and live a peaceful life with nothing to worry about, except what's outside the village. But Where are the men? Anne works on the fields, but one day she gets lost and ends up being late back. On the way, she finds a boy named Alex. But of course, never seeing a boy or male before, she has no idea what he is. Once Alex wakes up, he informs Anne of the horrors of the real world outside the village,vapour where the men are. Anne wants to help Alex and all men, she makes it her mission to save the male race. The chief finds out about Anne's plot, what will happen to Anne and Alex? Can they get to the bottom of what happened to split men and women apart? Peace is a state of mind, it's not a reality you can live in. Nothing is ever perfect.

While your world deals with disease, robbery, killers, and other crimes. Lizzy has to deal with her horrible start of life. She was sold off into "the subdivision," in her words a perfect, living hell. She heard stories about it, lots of stories, and they weren't good ones. Found poem I did for "The Giver"

Callista and Ophelia are trying to escape their cruel dystopian city of Pandora. Pandora is a place where women are treated like slaves, and men are treated like gold. They hear rumors about a place called Aequalitatem... will it be a place of equality or a place of doom? It's my first story on Wattpad!

I, Aurora, was different from everyone I knew. I felt and saw things that nobody could even fathom. But I had to hide it. Our society strictly suppressed such things and I felt I would be in danger if I was found out. All I wanted were answers as to why I was this way. Why did the injections that should have suppressed everything have no effect on me? Was I the only one? Maybe as the new receiver alongside Jonas, I will finally get the answers I have always wanted. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** I started writing this story years ago and have recently decided to scrap everything and restart, HOWEVER, I did not have the heart to delete what I originally wrote so, the first "chapter" of this book is actually all the chapters I had out before scrapping the story all rolled into one for the sake of preservation. The book as it is now actually starts in the second "chapter" which will be labeled as the first one. I hope that made sense. This story is also available on my Quotev.
