An old enemy of the Avatar has returned, and with her the fate of multiple worlds. Unable to restore balance alone, Korra discovers that this time she's going to need help from some rather unexpected allies. Will the combined might of an Avatar, a Sorceress, a Gem and a Superhero be enough?

After giving birth a year after marrying Mako, Korra dies at childbirth and like the cycle of the seasons, the Avatar cycle began a new. However sixteen years have past and the avatar has yet to be found in the earth kingdom. A chaos erupts in the spirit world, Mako's daughter Hanabi, a fire bender is sent to live with her cousins in Ba Sing Se as her father sets out to figure out what is going on in the spirit world with his brother Bolin. As the world is in need of an avatar, Hanabi encounters a boy might turn out to be the world's hope of survival.

It's been sixteen years since Avatar Denali has passed and the world holds its breath. The time draws near that the new avatar will be announced. Tensions have been getting high and the nations are all equally divided amongst themselves. The world is torn into multiple kingdoms, chiefdoms, and tribes that are barely able to stay at peace; the air nomads have no security over their sacred lands, much of the water tribe is fleeing from their ancestral homelands in the jungles to the freezing north to escape the wars, and the very shogunate set to create equality and freedom for a new and burgeoning nation of flame to the west, is turned inside out. From the shadows, another kind of darkness brews, threatening to spread its roots to every nation on the planet to control the world itself under a new power entirely. The necessity for the Avatar has never been stronger. But when the avatar is revealed in awesome show of power, they are no longer safe from the groping hands which wish to twist them to their own desires and advantages.
