No one's ever ventured beyond the Glass City - all we know is that the Void is not a place to wander alone. Plagued by creatures of the dark commonly known as Inklings, the Void is a land of inky clouds and stormy weather. Nobody who's dared to cross the gates of the city has ever returned from the Void - that's why we have the Protectors, who abide by the Chromatic Laws and guard us from the dangers of the Void. We've been taught that our world is this small little divided city, but what if there's more? What if someday, someone will cross the Void and find people waiting for us on the other side? Well, I'm not going to wait for someone else to do it. I'll do it myself.
