Abnegation is the bottom caste, the public servants, wearing grey clothes that stay ripped and worn for months. There is nothing in Abnegation and with her brother married into Erudite, her parents enter her into the selection as a final hope. - I have read the selection series and loved them, though I can hardly remember how the process works I don't want to have to read them all again. So please correct me if something about the selection process is wrong though some things will be changed to fit in with the Divergent series more. Inspired by the Selection by Kiera Cass and Clue. When the Runway girls are chosen, everyone is delighted to see the next Queen. After only fourty eight hours, one of the chosen is killed, and the plot to destroy the royal family is underway. Will the Prince find love, or will the killer get to him first? Perhaps if they worked together there might be a chance... but at the end of the day, only one girl can win the Selection. Only one of them will get the crown- and their safety from the law that prohibits their mere existence.

Reading The Selection, I felt that Kriss needed her own story told. She had so much to say. She was calm, kind, and regal. As Kiera Cass stated, Maxon would have married Kriss if the massacre didn't happen. Many readers didn't like her, but she is a human and makes mistakes just like anybody else would. This is the Selection from Kriss's perspective and how she dealt with heartbreak and eventually finds her happily ever after.
