Another plot twist!! Its been awhile. Don't yell, give it a chance. It was a suggestion. This is a plot twist that will follow several of the selection characters, including Aspen, Lucy, Maxon, and maybe more, as they go through the aftermath of the Southern Rebels attack where America dies.

What if Maxon never forgave America at the end of The One? What if he married Kriss, and left America to move on with someone else? 20 years later, widowed America Singer's son Elias enters The Selection held for Maxon and Kriss's daughter, Meredith. To America (and Kriss's) dismay, Elias makes it to The Elite-- which means a family visit to the palace. And Maxon and America soon find it very difficult to stay away from one another.

I rewrote Maxon's mistake better than the last. It's also completely different but a nice twist itll end the same so read. If you haven't read maxons mistake it's about if Maxon chose kriss. It just so happened kriss couldn't produce an heir and Maxon is turning to America. America is very famous after the selection.

In this version Madrid is a selected unknown to the royal family and I'm blending Eikko and Henry into one character. Also Eadlyn was always going to have a selection as it's still law like for Maxon. I also toned down Eadlyns personality a little bit.
