Brought from his psychotic haze for unknown reasons, Ralk Sheffer is released into the world with a clean bill of health. Confused and lost, he decides to seek out someone he knew on the inside: Hallua Parkon. When he discovers she committed suicide months before, he's distraught for he feels, somewhere deep within him, a strong connection to the dead girl. Malidus, a malicious being who takes great pleasure in making people choose, offers him a choice: he can summon Hallua back to Earth from Heaven, ending her eternity in paradise, or he can leave her be and live a full life without her. The Selection Games have begun again.
