She never planned she would find the things she did when she got there, and that led her to the biggest mistake she could ever do, falling for the one she were supposed to destroy. Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection. (ik in the heir it's said eadlyn had the first girl selection but I'mma change that and alot of things so just know I'll break some rules from the books) America's parents didn't want to marry off her to get allegiance but they think she should be a queen. so when she turns 17 they suggest the idea of a selection for her. maxon is a five and a photographer. he's has always thought that the princess was really beautiful with her icy blue eyes and red hair like roses and honey and the sun. So obviously when he was given the chance to take part in her selection, he agreed What will happen next? Is it as simple as that? A common happily ever after? Certainly not with 34 other suitors fighting for America's heart and not to mention America's childhood best friend who has known her all his life!

Based off of the selection series. plot and characters are mine however it will have majority of inspiration from the series. you do not have to read the series to read this. A world after WW3. Everything was destroyed but the people. they remade society. what used to be America was now Alcresta. the government was a monarchy. When the prince or princess came of age, men or women would be brought in from sections all over. 1's were the royalty. 2's were the rich and famous, they would be guards and and singers and models. 3's would be artists and musicians that made a lot of money. from then on as the number section got higher, the poorer a family and providence you came from. Prince Thomas was of age and now had to pick 35 out of hundreds of girls, to bring to the palace and get to know. of the 35, he must eleminate and send home girls on a weekly basis with a large sum of money in compensation.

Lindy Williams is a Six from Likely, and the chances of her becoming the next queen of Illéa? Unlikely. She doesn't know who she is, or what life she wants to live, but she does know that she is in love with Holden Illéa. Lindy must struggle with her own personal identity, plus the endless pressure of competing for the princes heart. She will make friends and enemies, and learn more about herself than ever before. Is her place in Angeles with Prince Holden? Or does she belong scrubbing floors in Likely? But Russia lost the battle and unknown to the people if the country still exist, though, also unknown to them is that the people of Russia survive the war. Living under the radar for centuries since the last world war, they lived like nomads, anger toward the Illéan still ravage the old people who've seen the last world war and passed stories of the war to the younger generations. Then they reached the United Kingdom and surge an alliance with the current monarchy who despise Illéa and New Asia for not taking their treaty of alliance, thus taking the name The Old World Kingdoms. Illéa never thought of the danger coming from Russia as everyone knew they don’t exist no more … until another selection has come for the third children of Maxon and America, Kaden Schearve, now 20, was different from the other who took the selection, he was more excited to meet the girls than scowl at the corner. One of the selected has an unknown origin except for being new to the country, his parents had warn him but still picked her despite the warnings.
