When they get there, they find that their parents are gone. At first, everyone is excited about their newfound freedom...but it becomes dangerous very fast. Democracy starts to rise, and with it comes a whole lot of chaos. Maia Cardoso has lived in Quixadá, Brazil, her whole life. She graduated early, at the top of her class, and many out of country colleges had given her scholarships, but she refused each of them, wanting to stay with her family. But one day her city is flooded after a freak hurricane, and she has no choice but to accept a scholarship to Yale University in order to have a place to live. "No one to stop us...nothing to save us" Based on the Netflix series, The Society, I plan on writing a novel version beginning with season one and then continuing with what I think would have happened had the show not been canceled. If you haven't seen the show: Small town. Strange smell. The teens are sent away in an attempt to allow time for the adults to do the dirty work. Only they end up in a version of their town that looks like home but isn't. And they're alone there. Where are they? How did they get there? Why are they there? How do they get back? Read along to see how a group of teenagers raised in wealth and privilege develop a new society and attempt to answer these pivotal questions. Because of the format that I am writing, I need to give credit to the original creators. The show was created by Christopher Keyser and was released via Netflix. Executive Producers include Christopher Keyser and part-time Director Marc Webb. I do not own the ideas, characters, or plot of the first season of this story.

The town of New Ham is preparing to welcome the city's new mayors, while Allie and Will are incarcerated in Campbell's house. We follow the story from the perspective of Grizz, tender and mysterious football player of the now extinct West Ham High School. Ps.
