He knows he'll be dooming them if he falls, but he's tired, his body is breaking apart, held together on a higher being's whim only. He wonders if there'll be another to replace him. He wonders if there will be none. It's rather silly, really, since he won't even be around to witness that. The crowd, the rage and bloodthirst palpable in the air will ensure that. If he does not fall on his own, others will force him to. Or, in other words, the typical start of Error being forced to jump into the Void one way or another, in this case into the NaJ universe! a random, heartfelt story i wrote with a user in tumblr (@Artie_Black is their name on this) which was very fun.

My hands pounded against the glass, my movement becoming more frantic by the second. My vision grew fuzzy, I suddenly became dizzy. Ringing filled my ears, making it so I could no longer hear Az's desperate cries. Stumbling backwards, I collided with the ground. Finally giving into the desire to shut my eyes. I glanced at my surroundings. I felt as if I had woken up, but I subconsciously knew I had not. People of all sizes stumbled around in oversized, white coats, most wearing something over their eyes. They seemed nervous, some biting their nails, others pacing the pristine white floor. I get a glimpse of words on one of their coats, "The Agency," in fancy letters. A cold, deep voice rang out, "Phase one has begun!"

Izuku has had a rough day already and arriving in the void to Second's sarcastic remarks and attitude didn't help. He snaps at him and reveals his trauma to the past users.
