He knows he'll be dooming them if he falls, but he's tired, his body is breaking apart, held together on a higher being's whim only. He wonders if there'll be another to replace him. He wonders if there will be none. It's rather silly, really, since he won't even be around to witness that. The crowd, the rage and bloodthirst palpable in the air will ensure that. If he does not fall on his own, others will force him to. Or, in other words, the typical start of Error being forced to jump into the Void one way or another, in this case into the NaJ universe! Maeve is on the journey of a lifetime. Not her actual real life, since she is now dead. Her accidental death came with some afterlife challenges. Now she will choose how to live in the present after her untimely death. Maeve has never been considered brave. Her name had echoed through the place where she passed away. This place, she would come to find, was a portal between worlds. The king of time had beckoned her from the void, where he was trapped. He needed a human to help him return to his throne. Maeve, unfortunately, was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was collected by a mysterious stranger and brought to the void to meet with the king. He asked a great deal from her but offered a choice. Maeve would choose to be brave in that moment and help the king to return home. The gift from the king in recognition of her bravery to help, would be seeing her loved ones again. If that were even possible. The king didn't have a lot of friends in the void and the pair would face many obstacles on their journey to find the truth and redeem the king's throne. Will Maeve be brave enough to complete her quest and find a way back to her former life? Or will she succumb to the treacherous battles she has to face? Will an unlikely stranger come to her aide and what will the king reveal after it is all over? Maeve will be tested and learn to overcome her own insecurities. Along the way, she will meet many new characters that will either help her journey or cause her to lose her identity and become more vulnerable.

idk I just felt upset and while I was writing my thoughts I cam up with this story on accident and it just feels like smth I wanna share. I wouldn't want to talk about why I wrote it.

What is The Veil? The Veil is the vast void of the unknown subconsciousness of the universal existence. Ever wondered what is beyond your 5 senses? What is beyond the veil of deception? What is beyond the universe? Alex will be our brave hero and will try to bring us the answers to these questions, and hopefully even more. Content: Metamorphosis - The story follows Alex Miner's evening filled with dread, melancholy, nihilism and transformation. Once an aspiring writer, Alex realizes that he no longer wishes to linger in the mundane so with some help from a friend, together they break the barriers of reality and venture into the unknown trough sacrifice, suffering and acceptance.

Lost Within hatred pessimism and doubt? A maze full of false entry to freedom and reliance of others to make it out? Live confusion? Breathe envy? This is only a relation to what many endure in life, for do we truely understand a solution to fill the VOID.
