Wren is ex-Hydra, but when Hydra kidnaps her nieces to force her to go active again, she plays their game...her way. Unfortunately, along the way, she picked up an unwanted ally, another ex-Hyrda agent with a bad attitude and a metal arm. *Note: The storyline is based on an original script/narrative that I planned through years of scripting. A dear friend recently introduced me to Character.AI, and I used it to expand upon my storyline. I did not use AI to write the entire plot; rather, I forced the flow to follow the plot. Some AI responses were modified to better fit the narrative, while I used other suggestions to flesh out the plot. I will not be distinguishing what is what, but I wanted to give this disclaimer because I am only so good at writing!*

There was something in the way he looked at me when he said it that made it difficult to refuse. I let the name settle, turning it over quietly. Anna. It felt familiar, in a way I couldn't articulate, like something that had always belonged to me and was simply being returned. I offered a small, tentative smile and nodded. I could live with that. The smile he gave in return was blinding, and something inside me stirred in response, quiet and unnamed. The day a promise was broken, Carmen vowed to herself that she would keep her streak of never breaking a promise. And with that she promised herself, for her own sanity, to never keep her feelings bottled up. Because someone once told Carmen that it's not okay to bottle up your emotions. And she never did bottle her emotions up. She only had Theo to talk to, especially when being on the run from Hydra you couldn't exactly make other friends. But it's when Carmen and Theo see the news that a man Carmen once knew very well came back from being frozen and to fight someone named 'Loki from Asgard' did her interest peak. But in the end they never went back to see him, at the time it was too dangerous. And even now it still is, but they know they have to go back to Steve once finding out someone from Hydra is back; the winter soldier.
