In the universe known as the "Ever-Changing", there are two types of people, the Acknai and the Normlius. The Normlius are just your average day citizens. Normal people living normal lives that are also higher in class in comparison to most Acknai. The Acknai are lower class peoples, however they make up for this by having abilities. Because of these powers, however, they are feared and are treated poorly. They sometimes have physical changes that make them easier to differentiate from the population, however, the Acknai with no physical changes can still be targeted.
Songs of the Broken People is a short novel series based on real world situations with the impacts of the "Ever-Changing". Keep in mind, some of the issues that are talked about are intense and mature in nature, such as Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and Abuse. There are also instances in which adult/mature language is used throughout the whole series. Please be advised.
