Trying to escape record high setting heat, a young woman decides to take a dip in a pool in a house the is for sale. Unbeknownst to her, an unfortunate event has also filled the pool with the tears of sorrow.

This is my submission for the contest based around The Grudge.

Adam Saleen a Dallas homicide detective is called to investigate the gruesome scene at the O'Sullivan's home. Kate Lang a forensic investigator is already on the scene when Adam arrives. The murder, suicide that had taken place in the O'Sullivan's house all began when the wife and mother of three purchased a cursed locket, driving the woman insane and do the most unspeakable thangs to her family. Now the curse has its sights on its next victim, Kate Lang.

After finding out her husband cheated on her, Maria takes revenge before taking her own life. Years after the incident, a new couple purchases the home. Will they be able to escape the vengeful ghost's wrath?

After Cate's Grandmother dies, she spirals into a state of depression, she was always close with her grandmother and now without her, she can't possibly function correctly. After meeting a strange man who shows her a way that she can see her grandmother again but at a very high cost, will she choose the ones she loves over her her grandmother or her grandmother over her loved ones. Cate examines herself during her journey but it may possibly equal either life or death.

A visiting Professor, from Hong Kong is in BC to audit a new course being offered by a number of Canadian University on Urban Legends. While auditing the course, at UBC, he is strangely taken by an urban legend call the BC Night Train and as the class takes on overnight ride on historic train, he find himself suddenly engulfed in what seems to be a reoccurrence of the horrors of the past. This is third in my series of Canadian Urban Legends. All the three, The Fogo Island Blind Spot, The Manitoba Mist and this one, the BC Night Train will be incorporated in a single book call Grindhouse Canada

#thegrudgecontest Ever since she was little, it was just three short steps behind her. It would coax her to hurt herself and others, so she ran in the hopes that it would leave her alone. When her that thing finally catches up with her she has no choice but to obey its twisted commands.

Houses are not living they cannot breathe, they cannot speak and they should not be able to strike terror into the very core of your being. I knew this when I entered 3743 Second street. What I didn't know the house was cursed. The husband had killed his wife and he was now hell bent on claiming my life.
