But here he is, attending Hawkins high School freshman year, He doesn't even know what to expect, maybe that's the point..? before moving to Hawkins Indiana, he barely had friends besides his best friend Jackson but he doesn't know if their still friends after what Jackson confessed to him. But the other kids? they said he has an attitude problem. But so what? He doesn't need friends except Jackson but everything changes. So, maybe there's always new beginnings. So, he didn't think there was anything for him in Hawkins Indiana either. Not until he meets the one and only. Mike Wheeler. What do you think will happen? Will they be friends, frenemies, or something way more than all of that? But a jealous someone keeps them from doing whatever they want to do. Find out in this story! In this story El is healthy/alive But the twist is, she never had powers, she's just a normal teenager with a boring life like everyone else. Max isn't in the hospital. Lucas isn't on the basketball team. He still likes playing d&d with Dustin and Mike. But the twist for Mike, he's the shy one. He gets very nervous. especially around Will, but he starts to warm up to him eventually. There won't be any scenes from Stranger Things, everything in the store is my own twist! BUT I don't own the characters!

While the main kids grapple with the loss of their mage, and the older teens struggle to remain close, one truth becomes clear: El is the only thing keeping them together. Secrets draw them to Tricataracta - a place known for its trilogy of waterfalls. A place Will can't stop painting. Before they know it, the Party is preparing for one last adventure. In which, during a cozy Winter Break in a cramped New York apartment, Will and Mike find their way back to each other in the midst of separate lives, college and healing. *** Almost two years ago, during The Party's D&D campaign after graduating high school, Will Byers made himself a promise: that he would get over Mike Wheeler. They still talk for hours on the phone, exchange letters like childish pen-pals, and meet up with The Party for holidays and breaks. But Will has one rule he abides by like it's the law: don't hang out with Mike alone. And he's sure it'll work. Eventually. Because it has to. So, he avoids Mike's attempts at meeting up, at visiting one another, and, lately, even his calls. But avoiding him proves difficult. More than difficult. Especially when Mike calls one evening, after two months of not speaking and four of not seeing each other, and asks Will if he and the rest of the Party can visit him in New York. For the entire Winter Break. Suddenly, Will's plan no longer sounds feasible. Because first loves are hard to forget-and impossible if they're sleeping in your bed.

This is not their first time handling strange situations. Set in the early summer of 1989, can this stranger find his way home with the help of some new friends?
