3rd place winner in Contest #1 of Contestland (Wonderland)! Fizz also known as Felicity Berry is a sixteen year old girl with one thing: Anxiety. From the age of eleven experiencing her first panic attack to the present day, she has faced many battles and trials to get towards the end of her school life. When things start to go incredibly out of hand, she turns to her blog as a way of not only getting her point across but also to express without the fear of one of the bullies finding her under her pen name, "The Girl." It is through one of her blog posts that she encounters another user under the name, "The Boy" but is this user going to be another negative thing to happen on Fizz or will this user change her life for the better? Written for August's #JustWriteIt, Wattys entry for 2015 and inspired by true events from Scarlett's life, A for Anxiety is a story about courage and pushing through barriers to achieve your dreams. Weird title right... but it's true though and no matter how many people say it no one cares or really sees. It's crazy how many people do so bad and think everything they do is right. They don't really know they're hurting people. Or maybe they do.

We have a school literary magazine and since I'm one of the editors I'm hoping to send this story in

"I'm in love with him, the navy boy." Elizabeth and Alexander, two best friends from two very different backgrounds. They follow the rules, work hard and make sure that trouble is kept out of class. Deep down, he's shy and she's fragile and things are about to change. Alexander loves the sea and boats that sail on it, Elizabeth would rather walk along the shore but this year, everyone and everything that they have known will be changed forever. Lessons to be learned and a adventure that neither of them will ever forget. Guess love and growing up can be a struggle for young people right? This is no exception. The Navy Boy is a Teen Love story inspired by the true friendship of Scarlett Rose and her best friend who was also her first love. Rated PG for scenes of bullying and emotional thoughts. No violence.
