There's nothing like summer in the city, especially in New York. After receiving a pleasant invitation from her sister to go visit their father upstate, Angelica arrives to New York City. Frustrated at Alexander not wanting to come along with them, she goes downtown to take care of some things and meets a certain gentleman whom she used to exchange very passionate letters with. In a way of upsetting Hamilton, she decides to bring the man along to acompany her on the trip. The tension between them grows, making them both frightened of what the future will bring and what will happen to them once the summer's over. Meanwhile Hamilton not being able to convince James Madison to cooperate, keeps trying to reach Jefferson with letters, in belief that he's the only one able to convince the congress to vote for his financial plan. Overwhelmed by the stress, he meets Mrs. Maria Reynolds, who brough even more mess to his life. Disclaimer: This story is based off on the mucial Hamilton by Lin Manuel Miranda, NOT by true historical events. It is not a historically accurate story. Alexander Hamilton has suffered a tremendous loss, and he has changed. He once was sure in each area of his life and his boundaries. He could walk behind the lines carefully, but likes to tread dangerously close, all in the name of living. He challenges boundaries for his own amusement. When he loses what gives him life, all the lines blur and dissipate. ~ Thomas Jefferson doesn't like Hamilton. He finds the smaller to be bothersome and stubborn. That, and he's a pretty big prick due to his willingness to butt heads. Thomas treads a fine line of hubris and pure charisma. He sticks to boundaries. Everything is clear. Only when a single ripple appears, does Thomas lose sight of what was once clear.

Alexander Hamilton seemed to be the happiest person alive. He lived with his two best friends and his boyfriend John Laurens. His college career was going swimmingly, and academically he was extremely gifted. His life seemed to be perfect. Until a car crashed ripped it apart. John was taken from him, and his life is falling to pieces, and all Alexander needs is someone to pick the pieces up and glue them together. Alexander expected it would be anyone but Thomas Jefferson, the man he despised since he met him. But life comes with surprises, and Alexander's biggest surprise was falling in love with the magenta-clad snob. I'm sorry did I say biggest? I meant worst.

The one thing Hercules hated more than an enemy was Christmas, the jingle bells and the laughter of children once they open a present was annoying to him though it wasn't that way before. The one thing Lafayette loved more than baking was Christmas, he thought of it as a magical time of the year where everyone is happy. How will these two match? Thomas was amazing, interesting, and charismatic. James was definitely the opposite of all of those. Having been friends for a while now, James still doesn't understand how someone like Thomas would want to be around him. James feels a great love for Thomas, but understands he will never deserve someone so perfect. ~~~ So I intended this to be like...a bunch of cute events happening that eventually segway into the whole letter thing, but clearly that idea was thrown out the window. **Discontinued** Alexander Hamilton is a new student in Princeton College, and is going into junior (third) year. He is from the Caribbean, and is new in the US. John Laurens is struggling with his past and current issues, and is drowning. He is almost to the edge when Alexander helps John, while trying to suppress his own issues. They need each other, but they don't know it. (This is my first published fic, so feel free to give me any advice or what I should change/add in. There will also be more ships than Lams; like Mullayette and Jeffmads).
