I was about to run after her but I stood in front of the so called husband, 'Fuck you' that was all I could say.

A collection of short stories/poems built over the many years I spent apologizing for simply existing the way I needed to. It holds the things I was never given room to say out loud. What it cost me to keep giving, what it meant to be watched but never truly seen by family, teachers, and peers, and what it took to finally leave a place that only ever knew how to keep me small. This isn't written for the people who hurt me, or even about the people who hurt me, but rather It's written for whoever is willing to actually listen to what i have to say, to sit with the parts that are messy, unresolved, and still healing. Listening, and reading instead of asking me to explain myself. The last slice of bread.

Found Under My Bed is a collection of journal entries that I mentally write down in my brain everyday. The title comes from the idea that people hide their journals under their bed so nobody finds them. This isn't a story, a novel, or anything fictional. There's no plot, no perfect ending, and definitely no shocking plot twist halfway through. I also don't have my life figured out, so if you expect this to be educational.. oh boy you're in for a treat.. It's just my thoughts, random observations, unnecessary opinions, things that happened during my day, a little (A LOT) of venting, and whatever else my brain decided was important at the time. Writing helps me. That's really all there is to it. If you decided to read this because the title or cover caught your attention, thank you.
