To do that, he reforms a strike team, enters the Innerverse, and uncovers an ancient force manipulating villains across reality - all while war erupts behind him across the Anansiverse and within.

Synopsis Placement-2 years afters after "Buried Ailen" When the young prodigy Timothy Hunter is revealed to be a nexus of magical fate, Mosi Carter / Kwaku Anansi is tasked with protecting him from the sinister Cult of the Cold Flame. As Patademons and dark antimatter rain down on Harlem, Mosi assembles a mystical team of powerful allies-including Papa Midnite, the Dead Boy Detectives, Spectre, and others-to weave a protective network of magic across the city. With golden threads of Ashanti power binding their forces, the Loom's defenders face Azmodus and Pariah in a climactic magical battle. Against overwhelming odds, Mosi and his allies trap Azmodus, saving the city-for now. But from the shadows, Pariah watches, signaling that the Loom itself is far from safe, and the next weave will bring even greater danger in the Anansiverse.
