Tam thế luân hồi là câu chuyện về ba lần giáng sinh của Thánh Mẫu Liễu Hạnh, từ vị trí Đệ Nhị Quỳnh Hoa Công Chúa Tiên Nương Tiên Chúa, con gái của Ngọc Hoàng mà trở thành một thiếu nữ dưới trần gian, trải qua biết bao nhiêu ngọt bùi mà cũng đầy cay đắng. Có những lúc tưởng chừng như vật đổi sao dời, mọi chuyện đã tới một bước đường cùng, rồi Thánh Mẫu Liễu Hạnh và niềm tin của nhân dân về một hình ảnh Mẫu Nghi Thiên Hạ lại sáng rực trên bầu trời nước Nam. Xin được dựa vào cuốn sách Công Chúa Liễu Hạnh, được xuất bản tại Sài Gòn năm 1964, và cũng vô cùng cảm ơn Tiến sĩ Bùi Hùng Thắng và các cộng sự với những tư liệu vô cùng quý giá trong "Tín ngưỡng Tam Tứ Phủ và thờ Thánh Việt Nam", cùng với những thanh đồng đạo quan, thủ nhang đồng đền trên khắp cả nước đã lưu giữ, ghi chép lại những điển tích của Thánh Mẫu Liễu Hạnh để đời sau luôn nhớ về công ơn. Xin được phép biên chép lại, lọc thông tin quý, ghép với những hiểu biết tìm hiểu được mà viết thành TAM THẾ LUÂN HỒI - THÁNH MẪU LIỄU HẠNH.
