Egykoron viszont ez egyeltalán nem így volt, hiszen a 2000-es évek előtt ez a település volt a varázsvilág központja, ahol minden természetfeletti, fajtól függetlenül egy helyen élt és tartották titokban az emberiség előtt mágikus kilétüket. Azonban egy borzalmas esemény után elvesztve varázserejüket és képességeiket egyszerű halandóvá váltak, és ehhez mérten igyekeztek teljes értékű életet élni, elfeledve minden korábbi szokásukat. Évekig, egészen egy bizonyos március 11-éig így tettek. Ekkor viszont egy újabb csapás érte Hiddenfallst, ezúttal viszont Julianne Changeling már elég idős volt ahhoz, hogy tegyen ez ellen valamit, és mégis ki más lehetett volna ez a személy, ha nem ő? Hiszen a családja volt az egyetlen, akiket nem ért el a vész az első alkalommal. De miért is történt ez? July képes lesz helyrehozni a sok kárt, amit március 11-e okozott?
