"TINKERBELL, come on in here! Your boyfriends will still be there waiting for you when you get through eating!" I yell to her with a smile in my voice.
Almost as soon as Hope left the room I received an e-mail from a close ISEF (aka- world-wide science fair) friend in Australia, Ian Tanner, who invited me to come to visit him and his family, in June, after I graduate! Basically, two months away! His family would pay for me and a friend's plane flight, first class!! (Did I say he was rich? Yeah! he is!) He was informing me that his family was going to the beach house for the summer and that the guest house would be perfect for me and a friend to stay- FOR THREE WEEKS!
... when I look up from my computer I realize that Hope is staring at me with a perplexed look, asking if I was alright.

"OH MY GOSH-OH MY GOSH!"
"I HAVE FLEAS! There are FLEAS in my room!" I scream running down the stairs where Jason, Ian, and his sister Emma lay sprawled out on the tan leather couch with a bowl of pop corn on their laps lazily watching TV shows. It's about 9 or 10 in the morning, I wasn't expecting company, at these hours of the morning . Well, I guess you cant really count Ian and Emma as company-since we're the company. Anyway. People can get fleas...can they not?

In my head I'm scream "SHUT UP ALREADY" but too afraid to face him. Ben, in the seat directly behind mother and diagonally across from me, in the passenger seat, continues to complain about his "no life" situation. He had completely ruined it. It wasn't our fault, if he had listened to OUR lectures instead of to himself...
It was all a blur, I remembered pulling my legs up and crying silently into my knees, because I was under so much pressure--when is this car ride going to be over!?
Will this trip make the turn for the better or for the worse?
