(As a prompt from a group chat, I wrote a BTS fanfic inspired by the Titanic movie a few years ago ago. I don't think anyone ever actually read it though and the recent release of their new music made me think of it again, so now I'm posting it (despite my account being dead for ages, and I really wasn't even all that active when it was alive haha, too shy to share I guess). I wanted it to be a short story where the word count matched the number of passengers aboard the Titanic, sort of as a little historical Easter egg, but I fail miserably and went way beyond that lol. Even so, it's still only a few chapters long, in Word it's 45ish pages, so it won't be a very long read. But I still hope you enjoy!)

Moving from Galar to Kanto, Serena Yvonne and her stepmother embark on Titanic's maiden voyage. On the ship, Serena falls in love with Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. As the supposedly "unsinkable ship" hits an iceberg on April 14th 1912, Ash and Serena have to try to escape the sinking vessel. Will they and their love survive? Or will they go down with the ship? Note: The technology in this universe is much more advanced than ours. Titanic's wreck was discovered in the 40s.The story is written in 1952 by 35 year old Liko Ketchum. This story uses the pokemon regions and human characters, but pokemon themselves do not exist. The ship sinks in the Galarian Ocean, as our real world oceans don't exist in that universe. James Cameron's film exists in universe as a fictional story based on true events. Jack is inspired by Ash, and Rose is inspired by Serena. The film was released in 1950 and like the real film, gained massive success at the box office. In this story, I write about Titanic as if she were a living being, even if she isn't actually alive. The characters refer to her as "she" or "her". This book is dedicated to the 1,500 men, women, and children who lost their lives aboard Titanic, and the 712 people that survived.
