What if you torn in two people; the one you love & the one who loves you, who among the two will you choose? What decision will you make?

Tiana Kendrell is a strong, strong woman. She is only 16, yet has been through so much and never lets it beat her down. She refuses to let the hungry world chew her up. However, the summer marks the anniversary of which her mother left 5 years ago. She was only 11, going through her first year of middle school, coming home on a regular Tuesday afternoon and suddenly it became the date of which her world crumbled as she knew it. Life has gotten hard, but she swears to never become like her mother. Destroy and abandon decades of memories for a younger, newer excitement.
