The Avengers thought they knew Spider-Man.
A young, irritatingly sarcastic superhero who appeared whenever New York needed him, disappeared before anyone could catch him, and somehow always managed to get under Tony Stark's skin.
They were wrong.
Very, very wrong.
When an Avengers mission turns into a HYDRA trap, the team finds themselves sealed inside an abandoned base with less than twenty minutes before a bomb detonates.
Even Tony Stark and Bruce Banner can't figure it out.
So Tony makes a call.
To Spider-Man.
What the Avengers don't expect is for a fourteen-year-old kid to answer.
What they REALLY don't expect is for that same kid to solve the impossible bomb over the phone, casually arrive with Tony's favorite dessert, and then proceed to spend the afternoon playing games with the Avengers like nearly dying was no big deal.
Then Spider-Man takes off his mask.
And everything changes.
Because Spider-Man is fourteen.
His name is Peter Parker.
And apparently...
Tony Stark has a lot of explaining to do.
As the Avengers slowly discover Peter's relationship with Tony, Pepper, and Happy, one thing becomes painfully obvious:
They didn't just discover Spider-Man.
They discovered a family.
And Tony?
He's not planning on giving them all the answers.
Not until breakfast.
