Funded by Northwest Scientific Investors Inc, Pines had been finding over ten new species and mutations a year and studying countless more until a year, working with his twin Mabel Pines (publicity and creatives expert), Wendy Corderoy (21-year-old local lumberjack), and occasionally Mr. Soos Mystery (Owner of the Mystery Shack) to uncover the mysteries of their town. Recently, however, his research has dried up, his group's achievements this past one year less than impressive. Pines' funding dwindling, he needs to leave Gravity Falls and find something new in order to regain his footing in the science world. His destination? Who knows who and what he'll find? A crossover fanfic in which Dipper, Mabel, and the gang meet Star and Marco (SvtFoE), the Crystal Gems (SU), and other characters, and attempt to defeat a newly risen nemesis.
