Megan Mitchell's older brother Nick was in the navy. Nick's best friend Pete was in the navy too. Pete was Naval Pilot while Nick was a Naval WSO(Weapons Systems Officer). Pete was Megan's husband. Both Megan and Nick had kids. Nick had twins Bradley and Isabella. Megan had one daughter Emily. When Megan's brother Nick passes away on a mission she goes into depression while trying to still care for her daughter, help her sister-in-law Carol take care of the twins, comfort Carol in her grief, help her husband forgive himself, and sort through her own grief. As their kids get older Megan gets through her depression. What scares her is when Isabella, Emily, and Bradley come to her, Carol, and Pete after their high school graduation saying that they want to join the naval Air Force like their dad's did. Carol, in fear of losing the only two people left who have any resemblance to Nick with Bradley being a carbon copy and Isabella having his goofy personality, laugh, and eyes, begs Pete to pull the kids' papers and he does because he doesn't want to lose Emily either. This causes a rift between the kids and Pete but also a rift between Megan and Pete that causes them to divorce. Emily chooses to stay with Megan when she's not at the academy because she just can't forgive her father yet.

'Die on this hill' a Bradley 'rooster' Bradshaw x Hailey 'mayhem' Blackwood. Bradley is an ambitious,talented, and level-headed person. Particularly attractive if you ask his one of many women, if you guessed it. Yes bradley bradshaw was a player, and thats was Hailey Blackwood absolutley hated. Her and Bradley were on and off in highschool, always arguing- petty arguments. They grew up around eachother, considering her dad was his godfather. Growing up, her dad and mum was never together when she was born, but that didnt mean he didnt atleast stick around. Well.. he did, but not in the best way. When goose died, her dad was always there for carole and bradley, completley forgetting his daughter. And when she was 15, same age as bradley, carole passed away. Making the abscense of her father grow more. And she hated it. Hated how it made her feel, and she hated bradley for it. That was the reason they ended it fully in highschool. She belived they only got together because he wanted a girlfriend and she was dumb enough to be his girlfriend. Lucky her and bradley never saw eachother after highschool, not at the academy, not in missions and not in squadrons. But that doesnt mean, Hailey Blackwood ever forget him. How could she? Throughout the time at the academy, Hailey met Regina 'striker' samuels, her WSO. regina was the the direct opposite of Hailey, in looks and personality. Hailey is blonde with blue eyes, just like her mother, with tanned skin from countless days spent outside. Regina has pale skin and dark brown hair, but her eyes are a light golden brown. While she is outgoing and will talk your ear off, hailey was quieter and more reserved. The two of them quickly became an unbeatable pair, on the ground and in the sky. They are Mayhem and Striker.
