Harley Toro is anything but your typical high school sweetheart. Forced to move from her home in Arizona to live with her uncle and cousin in New Jersey, she decides it's time to change for a major change. Harley stakes her claim at the top of the food chain by joining the (dreaded) cheer squad and acquiring a football player boyfriend. Despite the warnings of her new found group of popular friends, Harley finds herself growing closer to her cousin's delinquent group of friends. Especially the incredibly intimidating yet terrifyingly attractive senior, Gerard Way. Could he really be all that bad?

One of the worst things you can ever manage to do is step on the toes of Lola Emerson. If you do that, you might as well dig your own grave. On Gerard's first day, he's already managed to do one such thing, and Lola's on a death rant to destroy Gerard.... Or.... will she?
