Ayaka Komeiji is an individual gifted with a perfect memory. She has lived 11 years of her life on Earth, but on the day of her 11th birthday, disaster struck. She trips and falls into a mysterious portal that suddenly opened up right below where she was falling. While falling through the portal, she hears a mysterious voice. "Welcome to Gensokyo" After waking up, she finds herself in a cave leading to an imposing mansion. The apparent residents of the mansion tell her that she is in a place called the Underground, and that human beings like her usually stay isolated in a village on the surface. She tries to gather more information from one of the residents, but before she can ask anything, a voice inside her head interrupts her.
