two "straight" boys are both struggling with school together. bad grades, late nights, and fights ending with laughter could describe their lives. when finney comes over to help elijah study one night. their lives change forever after. a girl is questioning her identity after her boyfriend breaks up with her, leaving her to the comfort of her best friend, kimmy, who might not be all that straight either. two friends are basically already dating but they're too afraid to take a step forward. they're stuck, but after a blockage to their potential relationship is removed, they start to blossom their liking to each other a bit more.

I've vowed to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So that's what I plan to do. Sometimes telling the truth is hard, like, really hard. But I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna take a deep breath and confess every mistake, every moment of joy, of sadness, of anger and frustration, every wrong feeling and right feeling, all the regrets, hopes, dreams, and wishes. All of it. Okay, maybe not all of it, but I'm gonna try to tell you everything from the time I first began to feel this way, the first time I really felt like a boy. I'm Liam, and this is my story.

It's the boy-meets-girl beginning that everyone's heard before: an accidental encounter, an immediate chemistry, playful and awkward banter as they feel the start of something wonderful. It's really just an intro, I'm not sure how to finish this yet (or whether I'm going to), so I thought I'd put it here for anyone who'd care to read this tiny bit of story :)
