In a world divided between the Sphere above and the Pit below, everything unwanted is thrown away. But beneath the surface of the world lies a place where discarded objects become dangerous, and monstrous Trash Beasts roam among mountains of waste.
Jungwon has spent most of his life in the Sphere. After losing his mother at only five years old, he was taken in and raised by Chris, the man who became his guardian. The only thing Jungwon kept from his mother was the gun she gave him-a weapon that would eventually become one of his magical instruments.
Jungwon is stubborn, reckless, and quick-tempered. He refuses to let anyone control him, but behind his usual attitude is a much darker side that appears when he's pushed too far.
Then Chris is murdered by a mysterious masked figure.
Jungwon is accused of the crime despite knowing he didn't do it. Branded a murderer, he is thrown into the Pit, where he must survive against the terrifying creatures waiting below.
There, Jungwon discovers the Cleaners and learns about magical instruments. His gloves allow him to transform discarded objects into weapons, while his mother's gun remains his personal weapon for weaker opponents. With his ability to control multiple objects at once, Jungwon becomes an unpredictable fighter.
After joining the Cleaners, Jungwon attends a welcome party where he meets Jay for the first time.
Jay's magical instrument is a pencil his aunt gave him. When activated, it can grow into a massive, razor-sharp weapon. Jay rides on top of it, using his legs to steer through the air like he is driving a vehicle.
As Jungwon searches for the truth behind Chris's death, he becomes caught in a dangerous world of Trash Beasts, powerful instruments, and secrets buried beneath the Pit.
But surviving the Pit may be easier than figuring out the strange connection growing between him and Jay.
