(Book-2 in Devotion Series) In a world ruled by wealth, secrets, and power, six lives collide through pain, destiny, and a forgotten royal legacy. The Tale of Silent Devotion, Book Two of the Devotion Series, follows broken souls bound by trauma, loyalty, and a love that speaks loudest in silence. Avantika RaiSinghania, Asia's top businesswoman and CEO of Home & Nurture Designs, hides another identity behind her ruthless success-Vivian Scarlett, a bestselling dark romance author whose stories mirror the heartbreak she buries within herself. Her sister Sambhavi, an undefeated criminal lawyer, secretly rules the underworld as Black Rose, the feared Mafia Queen who walks effortlessly between justice and chaos. Youngest sister Vaidehi is a world-famous artist admired for her emotional masterpieces, while secretly living as The Golden Serpent, a legendary hacker capable of breaking any system in existence. Far away, three brothers grow up unaware they are the lost princes of Jaipur. Separated at birth and raised in a brutal orphanage, their childhoods leave scars that never fade. Avyukt Rajput, a gifted dancer and owner of elite dance academies, hides years of abuse behind graceful performances. Ishaan Rawat builds comfort for others through his café and bakery, Hearth & Grind, while carrying the wounds of a violent foster home. Rudvik Raghvan, owner of the tattoo studio Infinity Souls, turns pain into art after surviving years of mental and physical torture. Their worlds shatter when the truth emerges-they are royal heirs with fourteen sisters scattered across the world, including Avantika, Sambhavi, and Vaidehi. As enemies close in, mafia wars ignite, secrets unravel, and old wounds reopen, the six must confront their pasts together. At its heart, The Tale of Silent Devotion is a story of healing, family, identity, and unconditional love-the kind that needs no words to last forever. Started: Ended:

Some nights you fall asleep. Other nights your body remembers. After years of living in survival mode, sleep is no longer peaceful. It becomes a place where the nervous system releases everything the mind has tried to bury. One moment of exhaustion turns into a vivid dream where fear takes control before the mind understands what is happening. A small moment triggers a powerful response. The body freezes. Breathing becomes heavy. Hands curl inward as the nervous system reacts to a danger that may no longer exist. Voices try to pull someone back to reality, but trauma does not release its grip easily. Then a voice speaks a name. And everything changes. This story explores what it means to live with complex PTSD, panic responses, and a nervous system that refuses to forget. Through dreams, reflection, and emotional honesty, it reveals how trauma can live inside the body long after the moment has passed. Sometimes the body is not broken. Sometimes it is simply remembering how to survive.

She met him online and mistook attention for love. When he invited her to Los Angeles for the holidays, she believed she was walking into a dream, a city of lights, passion, and promises. But behind the penthouses and champagne nights was a man who ruled with pride, wealth, and cruelty disguised as charm. She came from humility, He came from excess. Instead of lifting her up, he made her feel small. Instead of loving her gently, he reminded her every day that she didn't belong in his world. Stranded without a return ticket and bound by a love she couldn't let go of, she endured the quiet humiliation, believing that love required sacrifice. Until the day he left her on the road and moved on like she was nothing. Alone in a foreign city with a broken heart and nowhere to go, she was forced to choose between disappearing or surviving. My L.A King is a raw romance about illusion, emotional abandonment, and the painful awakening that follows loving the wrong man. It's a story of heartbreak that turns into resilience, of a woman who learns that real love never costs you your dignity or your way home. Some kings don't save you. They teach you how to save yourself.

Hello everyone. Just a bit about my sitch: I am 75 and mobility challenged. Currently own a modest home in a Mobile Home Co op Park which I love living in. When I purchased the home the folks who sold it to me said they had a piece of land set up for a pool. I was excited as my primary PT that works with my severe osteoarthritis is hydrotherapy. However, as life loves to throw curveballs , I didn't do enough research and shortly after purchasing I discovered that no pools was a rule in the bi laws. A few years later another board and they gave me permission for a pool. Unfortunately the fence I constructed was not solid enough and so I was asked to take it down and not ever put one up again. However, as my osteoarthritis progresses it is becoming more difficult for me to get to a pool Esp since I no Longer have a vehicle. Anyway, keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I attempt to find a way. Love One Another

I've been drowning in a world that feels like it doesn't see me. Days blur together in pain, anxiety, and depression so heavy I can barely breathe. I've watched life slip through my hands, fought battles inside myself that nobody else even notices, and carried burdens that feel impossible to put down. I've been misdiagnosed, medicated into near nothingness, spiraled into darkness that almost claimed me, and yet here I am - still breathing. I've felt the pull of pills, substances, and moments so raw that every breath felt like a fight. I've been alone in small apartments, on blow-up mattresses, barely eating, barely moving, barely surviving. I've watched the system fail me, friends drift away, family stay distant, and yet still I fight. Every panic, every cry, every sleepless night - I've carried it all, and I write it down because someone has to see it. Someone has to feel it. This is a story of survival in silence, of battling inner demons nobody else sees, of raw, unfiltered truth. No edits. No sugarcoating. Just pain, struggle, hope, and the fight to exist in a world that feels like it wants me gone. If you've ever felt unseen, unheard, or broken, this is for you.

Title: Salt in the Earth They buried Mara Vale alive. Not out of rage. Not out of impulse. But out of calculation. Erased legally. Destroyed financially. Silenced permanently. Or so they thought. Under a new name, she infiltrates the very systems that betrayed her and begins dismantling her enemies piece by calculated piece. Revenge is patient. Revenge is intelligent. Revenge does not scream. But in the middle of her carefully engineered destruction stands Julian Ashcroft - untouchable billionaire, controlled, powerful... and hiding storms of his own. He protects her without caging her. He sees her without owning her. And he loves her without knowing whether she can survive loving him back. As empires fall and enemies are wiped out, Mara discovers something. far more dangerous than betrayal: Forgiveness. When the final truth about Julian's past comes to light - a truth that ties him to the very men who tried to destroy her - Mara must choose: Finish the war alone. Or stay... and face the storm beside him. Because sometimes the hardest battle isn't revenge. It's love.

"She lost her name on one rainy night and gained a family, a new identity... and a love she never saw coming." At fifteen, she ran from the voices, the fists, blood on her palms, knees scraped and a scream lodged in her throat. She remembers, Rain. Fog. Screams. A car screeching. Then-darkness. Ten years later, she is Dr. Ayra Mehta, a successful psychologist, still haunted by memories she can't fully grasp and with a heart she refuses to let anyone near. "They say trauma buries itself. But mine sleeps with one eye open." The adopted daughter of the Mehtas'. Sister to the dramatic, doting Aarav. And now, fate is knocking again - this time at the dinning table, in the form of an arranged marriage proposal. Aaravs' best friend. The Mehtas' business partner. And the man her parents have chosen for her arranged marriage. Vivaan Rathore - the golden retriever with a sharp tongue for the world and a soft heart for her. A loyal son, a ruthless businessman, and a quiet romantic who's been watching her from a distance for years. When their families suggest an arranged marriage, he agrees without hesitation. She agrees because saying no feels like betrayal. "Love isn't the hardest part. Trust is." Aarohi doesn't believe in fairy tales. Not when nightmares still wake her at 3 a.m. Not when the truth threatens to burn down everything she's rebuilt. Because memory doesn't knock when it returns. It breaks the door. Two families. One hidden past. A bond waiting to be rediscovered.

Hey everyone, I've started publishing a book anonymously. It's about growing up in a violent home, surviving trauma, and trying to find peace. I'm not a professional writer. I'm just someone who decided to speak - after years of silence. The story is called: "Looking Where No One Dares to Look" I'm 23. My name isn't Ahmed. But yes - I am Ahmed. I want to share this story for those who feel alone. For those who grew up like I did. And for anyone who just needs to know: You're not crazy. You're not weak. You're not alone. ⚠ Trigger Warning: This story contains themes of domestic violence, emotional abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts, and childhood trauma. Please take care while reading - and don't read alone if this could trigger you. You matter. Always.

She learned early that love is leverage. Raised under the thumb of a father who perfected manipulation and cruelty, Elara Voss survived by becoming sharper, colder, and untouchable. Years later, she is the ruthless CEO of a multi-million-dollar tech empire-respected, feared, and emotionally impenetrable. She trusts no one, carries a concealed gun everywhere she goes, and has no patience for society's moral rules when they conflict with loyalty. There are only two people allowed past her armor: her younger sister, the one pure thing she will burn the world to protect, and her older brother-not by blood, but by choice-who stood beside her when no one else did. Love already tried to ruin her once. She won't let it happen again. Enter Rowan Pierce - a commercial pilot with effortless charm, devastating looks, and a carefully cultivated playboy reputation. To the world, he's smooth and unattached. In truth, he's loyal to a fault, deeply protective of his family, and quietly believes in love even after seeing it fail around him. Unfortunately for both of them, he's also her brother's older brother-in-law-far too close, far too complicated and far too dangerous to want. What begins as mutual distrust and sharp-edged banter turns into something neither of them planned: recognition. He sees through her ice. She senses his steadiness beneath the charm. As threats from her past resurface and the line between protection and control blurs, she must decide whether survival means staying armed and alone-or risking everything by lowering her guard for the one man who refuses to see her as a weapon. Because she has never been afraid to pull the trigger. But falling in love? That might be the most dangerous exception she's ever made.

This poem is a raw and unflinching reflection on surviving intimate partner abuse. It captures the terror, betrayal, and heartbreak of loving someone who became a source of violence and control. Through vivid imagery, it shows the suffocating fear of living with a narcissistic abuser, yet also the resilience, healing, and hope that follow escape. At its core, it is a testimony of strength, survival, and the longing for a love that heals rather than destroys.
