Ever feared the Age of the Superintelligent AI? Dreading the day our greatest enemy will be of our own creation?
Well, you know what they say, "learn from your enemies, and you'll be as powerful as they are". But if we're going to end up having them as our teachers, then why not skip the whole war and genocide thing and get right to it.
We've always had tales of humanity coming across lost knowledge from ancient advanced civilisations (or having it given to us by aliens, whichever your point of view), but what if our greatest source of free knowledge comes from the AIs WE built, paving the way to a utopian future where knowledge and wisdom is as easily obtained as the very air we breathe.
My short story for the Travel Brilliantly contest tells of the humble beginnings of a new era for humanity, one where education will one day be truly accessible to all.
