I'm just entering in the #TravelBrilliantly contest... this is about how the future may look with artificial intelligence (AI) helping humanity in ways it has never before, working in ways to help humans, and do things that only people were able to do in the past. My AI will be helping the most skilled surgeons in the operating room.

On a morning in early spring, as the sun's warmth chases away the prior night's frost and fresh buds are just beginning to bloom in window boxes, four travelers sit in a Parisian café. Each is at a different table, and each has a different story to tell. They barely acknowledge one other, too lost in their own thoughts to notice that those surrounding them aren't locals. Some are downing cups of coffee, some are eating pastries. Others are listening to the jazzy music plinking through a speaker from somewhere on their right, or reading the morning paper, which details the uplifting news of a dog being rescued from the Seine. But each is reflecting on their journey, and none of them would wish to be anywhere else. -- My entry for the Marriott Traveler #SoloTravel contest! -- NOTE: Cover image is from We Heart It (however, filter and text were added by me).

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) learns more and more about our wants and needs, can it save us from pain?

It was supposed to be a normal travel day for Kitty and I. I had everything worked out. Kitty was going to forget to pack something and make us late. We were going rush like the last Taylor Swift tickets were on sale. I was going to have a hard time checking in my bags because I definitely overpacked. Security-Check was going to be the bane of our existence. Kitty was going to want to pee the second we get on the flight. Finally, I was going to snore the night away and dream of the second I land in my husband's arms and the comfort of my soft bed back home. What I didn't plan on, was shaking an old lady like I would a container of pepper to inform her that her life was in danger. And what I definitely didn't plan on is playing nurse to the talking helmet of a doctor.

As of now it is a short story with a slight cliffhanger. In the near future I might make it a long short story (short few page chapters) and complete it. ~~~~ When Thomas Thrice gets evicted from his job, he find him self spending his freetime building things in his basement. When one of the things Thomas builds works out, he enlists his new invention to help him save the world and himself. Techhero will soon ditch the days of hiding out in the basement, and instead, save the world from his companies rival; Startol Co. Some inventions are made to save the world, others are made to take it over
