Upon their arrival, they are met with harsh, frigid conditions and soon encounter King Frostan. However, the diplomatic efforts take a dangerous turn when King Frostan attempts to strike Pike but inadvertently hits Spock instead, heightening the tensions. In the midst of the chaos, they find an unexpected ally in Winterrose-a striking half-Glacian, half-human with distinctive blue features. Accompanied by her pet Gorn, Saru, she complicates the situation further. As Pike and his crew navigate the hazardous landscape of diplomacy, they must leverage their strengths to achieve their mission's goals while striving to bridge the gap between their worlds.

"You really care about her, don't you?" Tom said, but the commander didn't answer. So Tom clarified his statement. "The Captain, I mean." "I have the utmost respect and admiration for Captain Janeway." Chakotay's response had been a long time coming. "Yeah, that too..." Tom threw in, as the tone of Chakotay's voice suggested the question had hit a little too close to home. Tom paused momentarily, mulling over what to say next or whether to keep his mouth shut. He put his hand on Chakotay's shoulder. "Commander, I could be wrong but, personally, I think you're holding out on false hope. If it was me, I'd want to know for sure. Maybe even push the point. Make a move. I mean, what's the worst case scenario here? Either she's going to phaser you, or she's going to..." "Consider yourself relieved, Lieutenant!" They both jumped, startled at the sound of her voice. Inwardly, Tom wondered how long the captain might have been standing behind him, while he tried to remember the last few words of his conversation with Chakotay. SYMBOLS or more informally "Why the heck Chakotay chose Seven of Nine when, previously, he wanted to throw her out the nearest airlock" is a work of fanfiction. It sticks to canon and is an ensemble piece, but focuses on Janeway and Chakotay predominantly. Paramount and Pocket Books own everything Star Trek - no copyright breaches intended. I just took the characters out for a play. Literary agent sent most of this to Pocket Books in 1998, but they didn't want it. I have a sweet rejection letter! So it's mine now. A couple of re-writes since then to relocate it in Season 7 and add Chapter 1 and the Epilogue. Starring Jonathan Archer, T'Pol, Tripp Tucker, Malcolm Reed, Jay Hayes, Hoshi Sato, Travis Mayweather, Dr. Phlox, and a cast of original characters. During E2, the crew had to cope somehow.

Book 2 of the Iconia Continuum. The Iconians arrive in the future only to discover that wars happen everywhere. This story takes place in the altered universe of Star Trek: 2009, but in the time of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Reading "The Birth of Iconia" first is probably a very good idea.

So for Dorian who does not believe in superstition is shocked when she is star crossed right into Chekov's path. A path that throws the pair into love, loss, lessons, life and tradgedy. They have a lot to learn, a lot to choose, but much more for them to fatefully lose...

Where would Spock and Jim go if they had a lot of free time on their hands? Generally, lets say, for their retirement? Side note- Star Trek: Generations never happened. The movies after Generations never happened.

Being a member of the Enterprise crew took more work than anyone would expect. It was lengthy and sometimes allowed little time for free time. Geordi and Data start to feel the effects of spending less time together and random flits of passion around various parts of the ship start to become all they can afford. Sometimes though there are moments that are much sweeter.

Geordi doesn't know how to react when a pretty Ensign sets her sights on Data. He's happy for Data, he's sure of it, yet he doesn't understand why he also is sick to his stomach.
