A bleak moment of true awareness.

My first post!! a little poem I wrote based off a personal experience. To me the writing process of this poem was really cathartic in that I was able to really portray the vulnerability of that moment in a way that felt authentic to my experience. It's also meant to be broad in a sense which allows readers to project their own emotions or experiences on the situation. Imagine you are stuck. Well not really stuck but lets just pretend. You are in a room. You have two demons trying to kill you. Luckily you escape, but you don't know how. You don't remember anything about the last 12 hours, but you can only remember a voice his voice and his name. "Jace" Now imagine this you wake up in a light room with two figures standing in the doorway. One rushes over to you when you whisper their name "Isabelle" These are all problems of her's. She needs to figure out what went wrong. And fast. Can she do it all before her relationship with Jace crumbles? Or will it be too late?

Ash Ketchum, a kid who loves his friends and family, and would do anything to help them. But now that's different. Ash is someone who is emotionless and barely seems to care about anything...except pokemon and... Selene Ketchum little sister of Ash Ketchum, except she hardly remembers him, Selene has only seen her brother in pictures and even though she has loving friends she still misses her big brother. Gladion and Lillie Aether have been friends with the Ketchums since they were 5 and 6 respectively. Both of them hate seeing their dear friend saddened about Ash's disappearance. Will the Ketchums reunite, will Ash's past catch up with him, will gladion and Lillie succumb to their feelings, find out by reading this story. The one thing he had going for him was his family. His brother, Portentous, his wife, Jasmine, and his six month old daughter, Bree. He felt it was all he needed, until the day it was ripped away from him by his world's Frisk, leaving him alone in despair. Dream came to him when he was at his lowest, giving him the safety he had always wanted for him and his family. Finally, he could mourn properly and heal. It didn't take long for him to find a group of friends within the Stars' Alliance, either. Then six months later, the war ends. What's worse, Nightmare and the core members of the Dark Alliance are moving in, throwing him once more into survival mode. Yet, seeing Nightmare in person...he didn't seem so bad...
