My first post!! a little poem I wrote based off a personal experience. To me the writing process of this poem was really cathartic in that I was able to really portray the vulnerability of that moment in a way that felt authentic to my experience. It's also meant to be broad in a sense which allows readers to project their own emotions or experiences on the situation. After a short while, the pain disappeared. 'I guess I didn't had a good nights' rest.' (Y/N) went down stairs to see her brother preparing us breakfast. "Off to work?" Louis hugged (Y/N) and continued cooking. "Yep but I wouldn't want to miss breakfast, your food always makes me energize every morning." (Y/N) sat on the chair by the table, looking at Louis. "Anyways, here. I just finished cooking." Louis untied his apron putting it aside. "Are you not eating with me?" I asked. "I have a early meeting, so I have to go. Sorry." Louis tried being reasonable enough to convince (Y/N). I sighed. "Ok, but be careful on your way to work." "I will!!" Louis waved good bye to (Y/N), leaving (Y/N) all alone.
