{Second book in the Trials of Aphrodite trilogy.} Unfortunately for Aphrodite, she's still mortal, the world is still in danger, and designer shoes are still way too expensive. Fortunately, Aphrodite has found refuge in the two demigod camps, and a friend to lean on. She and Reyna have almost resolved their differences. Aphrodite and Reyna are at the peak of their adventure, and on a wild goose chase to discover the whereabouts of the scheming snow goddess Khione and take back Aphrodite's symbol of power, which has the potential to brainwash everyone in the world. If the love goddess and the daughter of Bellona (and perhaps others on the journey) don't put a stop to her madness, it's over. Khione will manipulate everyone into calling her ruler. Not to mention the unbelievable weather changes the planet is already experiencing. With the help of the demigods, Aphrodite embarks on a second quest to save the world from sure peril.

Annabeth's dead. So is Jason. Now, Perseus Jackson must follow through his grief, being summoned to Olympus once more. Something plays at Artemis's heart strings as she sees the broken demigod. Is it pity? Perhaps even, a little love? But, another threat rises. And so, that means another war. How will this play out different then the rest? The gods ask him once again....
