I started this journal here on Wattpad when I had already published the first prequel novella, Calculated Aloha, on Amazon, 50 pages, and was maybe just a couple of weeks away from publishing the first full New Adult Hawaii Adventure novel in the Camp Hawaii Book Club series - (Secret Title for Now). It was supposed to be a week at the beach. A quick vacation in her favorite place, Alma Del Mar. A simple getaway-just Abby and her boyfriend, Matt. But that all changed when she caught him with a trashy local waitress. Though, Garrett-the smoldering captain of the Pincha Culero-takes her in, she decides to depart on a two day cruise to an uninhabited island. When she fails to return, the impression she left on Garrett, and the spark that had been ignited between them, leads him on a desperate search to find her. A horrible rumor he's recently heard about the island leaves him no time to waste. He needs to find her before something much worse does.

"I'm not okay," she blurted. He was silent. "People say it all the time. 'How are you? Are you okay?' And I lie, Evan. I'm not okay. I'm - I'm alone. I don't care-" "You do," he insisted. "If someone were to betray you, badly, wouldn't it hurt?" ... A wave swept ashore, the sound reaching her past the noiseless barrier that had flung up around them. Evan opened his eyes, his green gaze searing into hers, and El's lips trembled more. "No. Because I wouldn't let anyone get close enough for it to hurt." She turned, and started toward the cruise. A vacation to an island takes an odd turn.

On a cruise, teenager Emily and her family are on a vacation.
