She lived in a small Louisiana town near Shreveport. When Grams dies, instead of calling her Aunt, Bonnie runs away from Mystic Falls that night and to her Aunt's house. She begs her forgiveness and tells her she understands if she hates her. Her Aunt doesn't hate her at all. She knows that her mother had made some mistakes and she understands Bonnie can make mistakes. Bonnie asked her the question she always wanted to: Why couldn't she be her mother.
